Social intervention for brighter future

AU Amorha Foundation has evolved from a series of attempts by our founder, Engineer Victor Amorha, to contribute by intervention in little ways to reduce poverty through the strategic philanthropy of empowering entrepreneurs with funds and supporting youths to acquire quality education and skills that position them to thrive in today’s highly competitive world.

Our Story

Amorha Foundation

Governments and their institutions are by design meant to cater to the welfare and security of citizens. Painfully, we have not had the best of experiences with many institutions of our government, thus the deficiencies we see in different facets of our society.

Amorha Foundation has evolved from a series of attempts by our founder, Engineer Victor Amorha, to reduce poverty through the strategic philanthropy of empowering entrepreneurs with funds and supporting youths to acquire quality education and skills that position them to thrive in today’s highly competitive world.

Our Initiatives

In pursuit of our vision, we have focused our resources on the following areas.

Education Support

Our education intervention is aimed at bridging the gap between youths—especially the indigent and underprivileged students—and quality education by providing them with financial support, scholarships, access to learning opportunities and mentoring.

Poverty Alleviation

Our aim is to empower members of our project community with practical and market-relevant skills that will position them competitively for employment, entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency through training workshops, vocational courses, and coaching.

Skill Acquisition

We embark on strategic philanthropy which addresses the root causes of poverty with the goal of breaking the poverty cycle by providing microcredit and mentoring that empowers business owners particularly women, to grow and achieve sustainable income generation.
